BASIS I Project

El Orwig has accepted assignment as the supervisory analyst in the project. This was due to the continued difficulty I have had in being able to dedicate sufficient time to the project. El has assumed responsibility for daily supervision of project activities while I remain involved to a lesser degree.

The BASIS I development project team is involved in the conceptual design and development activities of the project. This should be formalized soon.

The project effort went into a hold state for the first half of the month as several project members underwent lengthy NSM training while the remainder of the team trained in Natural Construct.

Current activity is focusing on the functional areas of personnel, personal services budgeting, payroll, electronic transaction processing, and position management.

DETER specifications for the electronic transaction processing system are under review. NOTE: The acronym DETER will be changed in the near future.
