The Larry Guinn Endowed Award
The Larry Guinn Award has been established to honor the memory and legacy of Dr. Lawrence Guinn, who died February 7, 2007. Because of Larry's devotion to students and the teaching profession, the award will appropriately provide selected graduate students within the Department of English with financial support.
This new award specifically targets graduate students in English who have demonstrated interest in rhetoric, linguistics, literacy, and/or composition and who have financial need. Selection of the recipients will be handled by the chair of the Department of English or his designee.
Additional donations to the Award Fund can be made through the J. William Fulbright College Development Office, 525 Old Main.
