Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION VISA INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Contact the nearest U.S. Embassy in your country to make an appointment to apply for a non-immigrant J-1 Exchange Visitor visa.

2) Complete the necessary paperwork and gather documents as required by the local U.S. Embassy.

3) Inform our office of the date of your visa appointment. Our email address is ifpsilc@yahoo.com.

4) You should take all of the documents in the admission packet to your visa appointment. The following documents are included in your admission packet:

a. Letter of admission from Spring International Language Center;
b. Letter of financial support from Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP); and
c. SEVIS I-901 Fee Receipt.

5) Contact our office by email immediately after your visa appointment. We will need to know if you received the visa.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The purpose of the program at Spring International Language Center at the University of Arkansas is to provide intensive English language instruction and leadership training. You will attend the 9-week program in the U.S.A. and then you will return to your country.
  
  
• You MUST bring your AON Health insurance ID card with you to the U.S. If you are an alum, we will provide health insurance upon arrival.
