How can you get involved?
ASG Senate
Senate candidates may fill out an application from August 21 to September 1 to run for ASG Senate. All applications must be turned in by noon on September 1. Mandatory Candidate Orientations will be held on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30-7:00pm in ARKU 507 and Friday, September 1 at 2:00-3:30pm in ARKU 507. All candidates must attend one orientation to be eligible to run for Senate. Download the application here.
Executive Cabinet
The cabinet consists of multiple positions appointed by the ASG President. Each cabinet member is selected to work with a certain aspect of campus life. Cabinet chairs must be organized and feel comfortable speaking in front of groups of peers or administrators. Download the application here.
ASG Judiciary
Any student can apply to be an ASG Justice. Justices are appoitned by the ASG President and approved by the Senate. ASGJ interprets the ASG Code and Constitution. The application period for ASGJ appointments is from August 21 until noon on September 15. Download the application here.
University Committees
University Committees deal with a variety of campus issues. Committee assignments are applied for through the office of the ASG Vice President and then approved by the Senate. Applications are due by noon on September 15. Download the application here.
Fresh HOGS
This opportunity will give students a hands-on experience to learn and further their knowledge of ASG. Fresh HOGS is designed to build leaders for future student government positions in a fun and exciting environment. Applications are due by noon on September 13. Download the application here.
