On August 11, on the second day of our WhizBang California Trip, Terry, Terry's brother, Jimmy, and Jimmy's wife, Kathy, and their kids, Amanda and Michael, and I all loaded up in the car and drove to Hollywood. First we went to the La Brea Tar Pits. Then, we drove to Hollywood, parked, and walked down Hollywood Blvd. You can buy T-shirts really cheap there... and luggage. We looked at the stars on the Walk of Fame for several blocks, stopping off in the touristy trinket shops where I loaded up on keychains, refrigerator magnets, and, of course... T-shirts. Then we turned around and came back down Hollywood Blvd. on the other side where we came upon Graumann's Chinese Theatre or Mann's Theatre or whatever it's really called and saw all the stars' footprints and handprints (well, not all of them, there's a lot) and I had Kathy take the obligatory picture of me with my hands in one of my all-time favorite actor's handprints... Jack Nicholson. Then we got back to the car and headed out to find Vine. We did.

The Hollywood sign... actually, this photo was taken on a different trip to California (although it was pretty WhizBang also). It's the best shot I have of the sign.
