Santa Cruz and The Mystery Spot

We got a motel in Santa Cruz and had dinner at Denny's. It was actually the first time I had ever eaten there. The next morning we drove to the Mystery Spot. It was very strange. The gravity is really messed up there. I saw a ball roll uphill. The guide kept setting a level on the floors and railings so that we could see that everything really was level. Everyone was sliding and falling all over the little cabin that is part of the tour. They put grippy stuff on the floors. We got to climb up these LITTLE steps, right up the wall without even holding on and then walk out onto this little shelf where you can lean out without falling. There are also weird optical illusions where people are taller or shorter depending on which side they stand on.
